This 2-hour LIFT eFoil demo is built for anyone curious about owning a board — or anyone who just wants to experience flying silently above the water. Our certified instructors get you up and riding at your own pace, on the most advanced electric hydrofoil on the market.

What’s included in your 2-hour eFoil demo

• Private, one-on-one session for a single rider

• 15–30 minutes of on-shore coaching: equipment, safety, and how to move on the board

• Water time on a full battery charge (roughly 1–2 hours of riding)

• A governed hand controller so speed is matched to your comfort and progress

• Helmets and vests provided; wetsuit recommended (limited sizes available to borrow)

• Guidance on board and wing sizing so you know exactly what fits you

No experience? No problem

eFoiling is far easier to learn than it looks. You can ride lying down, kneeling, sitting, or standing — and almost anyone who wants to try can get moving on their first session. Because the throttle is governed, you progress safely and at your own speed. Many first-timers are up on foil within their first hour.

Do I need experience to try an eFoil?
No. This demo is designed for complete beginners. With on-shore coaching and a governed throttle, almost anyone can ride — and many first-timers get up on foil in their first session.

How long is the eFoil demo?
It’s a 2-hour private session for one rider, including beach instruction plus water time on a full battery charge.

How much does a LIFT eFoil demo cost?
$350 for a single rider. If you go on to buy a LIFT eFoil, your demo fee is credited toward the purchase.

Where are your eFoil demos held?
Across BC — Sproat Lake (main), Vancouver Island (Victoria, Nanaimo, Comox, Campbell River), Deep Cove, the Sea to Sky corridor, and Tofino. We can often come to you if you have water access.

What should I bring or wear?
A wetsuit is recommended (we have limited sizes to borrow). Helmets and vests are provided. Just bring a sense of adventure.

Is eFoiling safe?
Yes. Sessions start with safety instruction, the hand controller can be governed to limit speed, and our instructors stay with you so you progress comfortably and safely.
